Our service is to prepare and to aid those who protect society. We do that by providing training and security services in accordance with the highest standards of excellence and professionalism as well as scientific-based research and development.

Excellence was the goal of the Israeli Special Operations Veteran when he founded the company in the north of Germany in 2013.

In 2016 the Professional Services Division (GPS) was founded to extend the same high standards of excellence into consulting services. Led by a former corporate security professional with experience in areas including counterintelligence, investigations, policy development, and emergency management, Gecko Professional Services has a record of success that allows it to match Project Gecko’s standard of excellence.

Currently, Project Gecko & GPS are active in more than 8 countries across Europe and the United States.

There is growing evidence that many tactics and techniques are under-studied and possibly being trained incorrectly (e.g. against natural human reactions, stress reactions, in ways that are found to injure or kill entry members rather than save their lives). Tactics, in our opinion, are generally under-researched; room entries and urban tactics are potentially the most under-researched yet widely trained upon area of tactics for both military and police, domestic and foreign, counter-terrorism teams. Therefore, the information gap is quite substantive. Tactics often have limited, if any, scientific backing. And they are often trained on paper targets or mannequins, rather than human force-on-force engagements, during capability enhancement sessions. This means that tactical dogmas are ingrained into tactical team cultures rather than understood/mitigated or confronted/changed.

This is why science matters

Project Gecko´s main objective since 2014 was to generate, collect, and document data that will allow to support or establish new approaches to tactical problems. As part of our efforts, these solutions should be supported by both the legal system and the tactical requirement in the field.

Since then, Project Gecko established project IREAD (identify, research, evaluate, adapt, and design) which helped numerous international governmental organizations to gain access to documented information and data, which until now wasn’t available. As such, Project Gecko contributed not only from a trainability perspective but also policies. Making Law enforcement personal safer.
