DESCRIPTION

The shooting range is technical. Tactics are circumstantial – Training in a one-direction setting such as the range has its merit. However, applying our training in a two-way environment – is different. Circumstances, context and objectives are just the beginning of what we need to consider before we identify the appropriate response.

The Opposed ITCQB focus is to give students new training opportunities exclusively in Force on Force settings. This course is not about the acquisition of knowledge but rather the application of knowledge. And most fine-tuning.

The Opposed ITCQB course is a hands-on, fast-paced tactical course. This course focuses on applying the ITCQB methodology against human opposition through a series of Force on Force scenarios. During this course, Students will receive a quick refresher of the SOPs they learned in previous ITCQB courses and will be required to run these SOPs within given scenarios.

Once students conclude a few hours of scenarios,  they will participate in a visual analysis of their performance. Video and written documentation of their performance will be presented and discussed in the classroom.

This course's purpose is beyond just Force on force. While this course enables training opportunities that are not possible in the shooting range, This course's secondary objective is aimed at the experience the student has already. In this course,  ITCQB graduates to have an environment where they can further test or practice previously learned material against human opposition.

The course will include several topics. Each topic will be trained via the following template.

·         Topic presentation – The tye of tactic/technique in focus.

·         Refresh of the topic – Physical and theoretical

·         Force on Force Scenarios – Performance on demand

·         Feedback & ARRs – understand individual capabilities and breaking points of SOPs
